Quality control destructive tests

For destructive tests, we co-operate directly with manufacturers, mills and an external indipendent laboratory that supplies:

  • Tension tests
  • Hardness tests
  • Impact tests
  • Hot tensile tests
  • Metallographic examinations
  • Corrosion test
  • Chemical analysis

Quality control non-destructive tests

Our own qualified technicians perform the following non destrucive tests:

  • Liquid penetrant examination (II° Level SNT TC 1A)
  • Magnetic particle examination (II° Level SNT TC 1A)
  • Ultrasonic examinations (III° Level SNT TC 1A - EN 473 II° Level n° 7258)

PED 97/23/EC

Most of our forgings and finished products comes from European manufacturers and mills with PED 97/23/EC certification. On request we can select them for you and provide all related documents and certications.
